My name is Kaleb Nation, and I am a 20 year old college student from the United States. I am a former radio show host and author of a series of books, my debut set to release in bookstores Fall of 2009. I am trying to find why nearly every girl in the world is obsessed with the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. This website documents my research.
I do not read vampire romances, nor werewolf romances, goblin romances or hobbit romances. I am not the type of person who will commonly read a story whose main idea revolves around someone falling in love with a vampire. But the Twilight books are obviously different, because they have single-handedly started a revolution in today’s literature.
My intention is to read Twilight and then follow with the sequels. You can interact with me as I read the books by commenting on the posts.
To start reading Twilight from a guys' perspective, click here to read more. Just some fair warning that you might be up late into the night as Kaleb's posts are just about as addicting as reading the saga itself. I know that we all remember the FIRST time reading ourselves, and many of us talk about missing our Twi-virginity. The innocence, the excitement, the thrill of reading it all the first time through is something you can't recreate. So its really cool to read along with someone else as they read for the first time
Kaleb has also interviewed Stephenie Meyer herself, Rob and many of the cast

This is his last post. I have to admit I cried, and not just a solitary tear, but quite a few tears if I must say so.

It is with a mixture of hope and regret that I write this: my final post for TwilightGuy.com.
At least, that is how I originally planned to begin this post.
Lets identify exactly what made me cry. For the entire time that I've been reading the site, Kaleb has had a quote stating that he was not a true fansite and was not a true fan
As everyone knows, I started this site with a notice at the top bearing these words:
Attention: This is NOT REALLY a Twilight Fansite. I cannot honestly be called a ‘Twilighter’ yet. This site is about me reading the books for the first time. I am not a ‘Twi-hard’ or any other name for the fans of Stephenie Meyer. However, I am a reader. And I am a guy. I may be one of the first guys to read Twilight and actually admit it. But I’m only doing it as research and not because I’m curious. At least, that is my alibi.
As of today, I’ve taken it down. Because now, I am happy to have read the Twilight Saga; I am happy to be a part of this wonderful family of fans, and I’m proud to be known as The TwilightGuy.
Kaleb has also announced he is giving away his personal copy of Breaking Dawn autographed by Stephenie Meyer
You can support Kaleb by buying his book, which releases tomorrow on 9/9/09.
I know Kaleb is riding a high right now as his book finally releases and he's completed his posts about the Twilight Saga. I dont know about you, but I consider it pretty prolific to have an entire novel written and published by the age of 20!
Meeting Kaleb was one of my huge highlights of Twicon (as my friend Shannon will agree, as I screamed "KALEB" just about any time we were near him). I was a tad fangirl, I have to admit. [hangs head]
He's gonna be in Austin for a signing and reading on September 25th. How far is it to Austin? :)
