I'm not kidding when I tell you to watch this!

So it's not the brand new Eclipse trailer-- but it is Midnight Sun, The Movie. Well as close as we're going to get.

I know, and I'm highly aware that Midnight Sun is the same series of events as we read about in Twilight. But to say "it's just the same thing, just from Edward's point of view" is absolutely ludicrous. Admit it-- it's fascinating to hear about the Cullen experience, and to know what life is like for 100 year old vampires in the midst of ho-hum middle class America high School life. I'm sorry, but Kick-Ass Volturi Battles and brand new, never seen before hybrid vampire babies were new experiences even for the Cullens. We all wanted to read about what life was like for the Cullens before Bella changed into a sparkly Shield and made life more interesting. Well at least more interesting for Rosalie and Jacob.

So, if given the chance, you'd watch Midnight Sun and you know it. Especially when it's not directed by Cathy Hardwicke. Right?

This is about as close as we'll get. And I think you know me well enough to know that I'm pretty picky about posting Fan Video's of any kind. ESPECIALLY posting a 7 part series. But this is amazing, and I'm not kidding when I tell you to watch this. She somehow figured out a way to use the exact same footage of Twilight, yet actually builds up the relationship we all adore in the book series. Here you go Catherine Hardwicke. THIS is how it's done. THIS is what Twilight was supposed to look like.

Now let me admit now. The first video is kinda slow for the first 2 mins. Then it ramps up for about 1 minute and then kinda dies down. But make it to Video 2. Seriously make it through those, and it gets pretty engrossing. And to be completely fair, it made Twilight SO much more interesting, as it uses the same footage from the movie (and does so pretty intelligently I might add).







Episode 3 REALLY picks up, and is really the best. I honestly felt like I was watching the "same old footage" from Twilight, but honestly hearing it from Edward instead.



WHOOO this one is GOOD!!!! And totally different footage in this one. Much darker Edward. I dare you to watch this one and not think that even Pea Coat Poofy Haired is a BAD ASS
