hmm. A shiny pretty STEEL hardcover case for the New Moon DVD? I just might be into this. Also with a cell phone skin? No details yet on what particular phones it will fit

I rarely post about Rob at all, because he's just not my fave. I don't hate Rob at all, he's just not my flavor (Shannon can testify that my flavor of male is much different after going on and on about Channing this weekend. Ghetto white boys, yes. Grungy emo boys, not so much)

I have no other reason to post this other than the fact that this song rocked my world today. A COVER of "Must have been love" set to New Moon Footage? Perfection. How the hell didn't this make it on the soundtrack (yeah yeah I know, it's already been in a huge movie)

No other song is as perfect for New Moon as this one (guess I just always associated it with hookers)

I'll admit it. And I am subjecting myself to my next near death experience by admitting this, as I'll soon be receiving death threats. But Ian Somerhalder/Damon Salvatore is hotter than Rob/Edward. Sorry. Melissa might kill me now, but my fascination with Rob is well documented as being pretty non-existant. He's a cool guy, a cool actor, and he can BE hot, but to me, he's not hot just by existing.

This was a test shot for "almost Edward". I don't know if this was pre or post-hair extensions on Rob, but this style didn't quite make the final cut.

The WolfMan proclaims that Rob could have single handedly brought back Thunder Cats with a massive vengeance

So sad. Rob really lost an opportunity there to reunite us all with the classic 80's fave's of both Thundercats and Trolls. I guess he didn't quite see the appeal, as he is British. I guess they didn't have Thundercats there.

Twitarded is going to Forks... and I want to go!

So JJ and STY at Twitarded have all of a sudden (a little late I might add) discovered the fabulous draw that is Forks. For some reason, the actual city held no draw until this year in which they've renewed their obsession with visiting Forks and planning a massive girl party shindig in which the entire internets are invited.



And I want to be there.


Watch out Twitarded and Forks. Here we come! Latchkeywife wants in on the action and plans to tell her husband she is going to Forks by telling him after she get's back from Forks. Good enough for me

I'm watching Twilight on Showtime and Remembering the Anniv of my Forks Trip

This is how the phone call went 2 days ago

"Dear sweet husband. Despite the budget we are attempting to use to repair the damage to our finances I've done through the last year of buying Twilight stuff, I request that we order Showtime"

Fan-made Eclipse trailer--and it's worth watching!

I really don't spend alot of time on fan trailers, because they all seem the same, and they bore me I guess, but last year Tiffanyd666 is the same one that came out with the only New Moon Trailer to make me cry, and almost seemed better than the ones released by Summit themselves.

She's done it again-- see if this doesn't make you hyped up to watch Eclipse. She has some REALLY good editing with this one, particularly the red ribbon turning to Summit Mountain

Does it count as a “quest” if one only surfed the internet on occasion just to see if someone, anyone, managed to find out what Jake’s birth day was? Well, that’s what I’d been doing since early 2007 when I’d been captivated by the beautiful character that Stephenie Meyer created – Jacob Black. I’m sure everyone who ever became a Jacob fan did a search at least once to find out when he was born, but all we ever discovered was the year ‘1990’.

Anyway, over the years, I’d befriended many a Twilight fan and even people who were not necessarily Twilight fans but were somehow associated with it. Case in point, my friend who eventually became the vital person in helping me find out that very date, is not necessarily a die-hard fan, but she is a pseudo-fan by default as she is associated to the franchise.

This friend had called me up one day and asked me out to lunch, and as I hadn’t seen her in a while, I was eager to meet her, with my 7-month old son, Jacob, in tow (have I mentioned that I am Team Jacob?). We met at Pick-Up Stix in central Phoenix, and chatted away, and at one point (and I don’t know how this came up), I said, “If I could ask Stephenie Meyer one question… just one question, it would be ‘When is Jacob Black’s birthday?’”

My friend looked at me and smiled, and said, “I can ask Stephenie for you.”

I absently blinked a few times, and it all suddenly dawned on me (and I have no idea why I hadn’t asked that question sooner) that she went to the same church as Stephenie Meyer! Not only that, her son, Ki, is in the movie franchise playing Embry Call. I wanted to slap my forehead at that point, but my first reaction was to practically beg (it was not very becoming, come to think of it now *LOL*)

A few days later, she and I went out again and she told me that she’d asked Stephenie when Jacob’s birthday was. Needless to say I was ecstatic. She said that Stephenie told her it was January 15, but that she would have to check her notes. I wanted to post this information right away, but I realized that I had not asked her if Stephenie would be alright with QWP posting it in the new blog, so I called her to find out. She said Stephenie was not aware that a fan was actually asking this question, and at that point, it was becoming clear that it might not be a good idea to post it on the blog. Stephenie, after all, had gone through the Midnight Sun Disaster, and we didn’t want to post anything that she didn’t want out there. After consulting a few QWP Staff Members, who told me they didn’t think it would be a good idea, I called my friend and asked her if she could possibly ask Stephenie if it would be alright to share the information. This was yesterday, and at that time, believing that the birth date was January 15, I was anxious to tell all the Jacob fans the date, but it was more important to get Stephenie’s permission first, so we at QWP waited.

Today, while on the road, I received a call from my friend, and she made the correction. “It’s January 14!” I was excited to have the date, but I was also a little disappointed that the date came and went. I asked her if Stephenie said it was OK to post this information on QuileuteWolfPack.com. She said that Stephenie Meyer said it was alright to post. I was beyond excited at that point – I had to pull over.

I called Selene, my Beta, and told her the new date, and from over-excitement, completely forgot to tell her that we got Stephenie’s permission! We agreed to meet after work at 5pm for an impromptu birthday party. I rushed to Big Lots to buy a birthday card, and while perusing the card aisle, Anya Marina’s “Satellite Heart” began playing in the store! I kid you not. This was too good of a coincidence to make up! People were wondering why I was chuckling in front of the greeting card aisle when I wasn’t even reading a card.

Rushing to the supermarket after that, I bought a simple chocolate cake and some icing, and headed to Side Bar, where I was supposed to meet Selene. And there, for the first time, we celebrated Jacob’s 20th birthday, albeit late by a day. Were we the first fans to celebrate his birthday? That thought tickled us silly. The woman seated next to us asked us whose birthday it was. Selene, bless her heart, quickly responded, “Well, he’s not here and we missed his birthday, so we’re celebrating it for him today.” The woman thought we were “adorable” – not exactly the word usually used to describe two grown women, but at least she didn’t say “You’re insane”, which is exactly what my husband told me when I told him what Selene and I were up to. Eh. It’s not often that a fictional character can have this kind of affect on us.

After that short impromptu party, I returned home, excited to tell the Team Jacob community the great news. And we owe it all to Kiowa Gordon’s mom!

Handling the Renesmee Problem- Cgi or a real actress?

While we all wait for the announcement for Breaking Dawn, I know that the peeps at Summit have to be scrambling to figure out how to do Renesmee.

And I have to admit, I'm a huge Renesmee fan! She's my fave female character, and I love her, and her name. I'm in the .00000000001% of all Twilight fans I know, but I even count Breaking Dawn as my fave book. Even wierder- the Birth Scene in Breaking Dawn is my fave scene in the entire Saga! So I know that I'm pretty odd in the Twilight Community, but I"m ok with that

That also means that I've got some high investment in exactly what will happen in Breaking Dawn when Renesmee finally enters onto the screen. I don't want a muppet looking computer character

Wyck Godfrey and others say that making Renesmee, as well as the question of two movies vs one, will be due to how Rosenberg writes the script

I've heard you say that you think Breaking Dawn should be two movies. Why? Also, that it might be impossible to film. What does that mean?

If Breaking Dawn were ever made into a movie, it's hard to imagine it fitting into ninety minutes. The book is just so long! I can't imagine how to distill it—if I could, the book would be shorter. But maybe a screenwriter can see a way to do it and still cover the crucial plot points.
When I said that Breaking Dawn might be impossible to film, it's because of Renesmee. You can do almost anything with CGI these days—realistic dragons and dinosaurs and endless amounts of nonexistent creatures that blend right in with the real elements. Some of them look so real you forget they're not. However, the one thing that I've never seen is a CGI human being who truly looks real. An actress can't play Renesmee, at least not when she's a few days old; she's the size of a baby, but her expressions are totally controlled and aware. She would have to be a construct, and CGI isn't quite there yet. Of course, they develop amazing new technologies everyday, and we've got a little time left.

Sorry Jake- you aren't our fave character, well not as much as Edward or Jasper or frankly any of the Cullens, but we do love you still and we feel bad we forgot your birthday!

New Moon DVD Details

According to MTV, we don't get any commentary from the Holy Trinity of Twilight. No Rob. No Kristen. No Taylor. Just Mr Orange Pants Chris Weitz and the producer.... yawwwn

Along with the fantastic film, fans can expect a six-part, behind-the-scenes documentary chronicling the creation of the film, rehearsal footage from Muse, three music videos from Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina and Mute Math, as well as audio commentary by director Chris Weitz and editor Peter Lambert. But where, oh where, is the commentary track with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner that Chris promised back in the day?

Perhaps that, along with the 20 minutes of deleted scenes, are among the "And more!" that the Summit press release touts. Count Hollywood Crush among the sorely disappointed if RPattz's self-depricating humor isn't included on the disc.

The cost of the New Moon DVD?

The DVD will retail for $32.99 and the Blu-Ray for $34.99. Both will go on pre-sale January 26.

However this seems to go against a quote Chris Weitz gave a few weeks ago to MTV..HMmmm

"There will be a commentary track," Weitz revealed, saying that he'll soon head into the recording booth with his three big stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. "It'll just be us riffing off each other in our intimate way," he grinned. "We kind of like each other, so that should be fun."

Official New Moon DVD Release date!

Summit announced via their twitter that the New Moon Dvd will release that day. It was announced about 3 hours ago!

The New Moon DVD date is official!  On Sat., 3/20 be the first to get the 2-Disc Special Edition DVD or Special Edition Blu-Ray!

Jacob's line in Quileute means "I love you" ? Quileute Audio Recording reveals more

Hmmmm. Dazzled by Twilight, the store in Forks has posted on their blog that there is an audio recording of different Quileute words and phrases. Within that recording is the pronunciation of kwopkalawo’li”as I love You in Quileute

Here is the Audio Link to listen to the correct way to pronounce it 

I don't know, I'm still skeptical. It seems to simple and both Summit and the Quileute nation seemed to be hiding the answer to this, making it seem like it was more than just "I love you"
